Angela Kirabo - Greenhill Academy shadowed John Quote form Student

“I learned more about business today than I had ever thought existed.”

Mentor Feedback

I enjoyed having Angel with me on Monday, 23rd Sept 2024 for the day. She was quick to ask questions and absorb all the information I gave to her. I had asked her about her understanding of our industry and what we do, and she for the most part was able to communicate back to me what we do. I gave her several documents to read and then present to the team, at the end of the day. She did a great job of being ‘put on the spot’.

Mentor Feedback

I was impressed with Vanessa from the very start, As we all introduced ourselves to the students, outlining what each of us did, allowing them to choose their mentor, Vanessa stood straight up after my introduction. We went through some of all of the type of work I perform, and although writing a Job Description is not high on anyone’s list of joys, she stuck with it, even pointing out my typos. We also included some accounting work and Operations activities.

Mentor Feedback

I worked with Vincenzo on Friday, 27th September 2024. I liked his approach to life in general and the work I was doing. He mentioned that he wants to be a software engineer, and at just 16 years, he already knows how to code using python and HTML which impressed me. Given his ambitions of being a software engineer and my background in finance, I figured that our skills could compliment each other well in the future hence I offered to mentor him and give him the guidance he needs to reach his career goals.
